I’m a licensed clinical social worker who for more than twenty years has worked with young adults, adults, and couples, adjust to the core issues we all face. I strive to help people create a more meaningful and fulfilling life experience, to identify and overcome their perceived limitations and adapt to change. I believe in building a trusting and caring relationship with my clients and that belief is the cornerstone of my practice.
I received my BA from Kenyon College and my MSSW from Columbia University. Then as an oncology social worker at Memorial Sloan Kettering, I did post-graduate training at the NYU Silver School of Social Work and at the Payne-Whitney Cornell-Weill Medical College, where I studied for three additional years in their Human Sexuality Program. You can take a look at my CV too if that’s of interest. My education and training have been extremely valuable and my work experience tremendously formative, but whether I am working with individuals, couples or families, it’s the connection I make with people that’s important.
At this time, I have availability in my Maplewood office for Out-of-Network patients and am seeing people both in person and virtually. I am open to taking patients on a sliding scale fee on a case-by-case basis. I am licensed in both New York and New Jersey. Please don’t hesitate to contact me directly regarding referrals or consults.
